Pregnant & GLAMorous

As mentioned in the last post, I spent Friday with Alicia Lee. Alicia and her husband, Marcus, are expecting their second child.

They are soo excited and cannot wait for their new arrival. Their first son, Ryan, knows something is going on and has gone back to his "Baby Days."

I have been having a great time this week. I have met beautiful women and they fell in love with Mary Kay, made new friends, and enjoyed reaching my goal. I AM STAR CONSULTANT for the 2nd time in a row!!!!!!

Today, I had the pleasure of hanging with another GLAM & Pregnant Woman, Alicia Lee. We had such a great time and shared many laughs. Alicia looks beautiful pregnant and I will post pictures tomorrow. Thank you Alicia for making my day and bringing a bigger smile to my face. Love you much!!

I am behind posting pictures, but I will be sure to post some during my busy weekend.

Pictures from the Pink Bubble

One of the biggest thing I love about my Mary Kay Business is the recognition. I love it! Once you win a prize, you want to keep them coming.

In my case, I have the best of both worlds with 2 great directors. Kimry Taylor is my director in North Carolina. Kimry's winning attitude made me sign up to be a consultant. Kimry knows how to get things done and teach people how to do the same. I love her for that!!! With Kimry being away, she wanted to make sure I was taken care of. She introduced me to Bakir Mason, my adopted director in Memphis, TN. Kimry did a great job picking her. Bakir is the sweetest person in the world with great things to share with her unit. I got it made-two awesome people leading and guiding me. Many thanks to them both!Here are a few pictures from the Pink Bubble in Memphis, TN.

How it all got started? The story according to Dorian

I knew when my sister was in the 7th grade she was destined for greatness in the hair and beauty business. I remember watching her throw her up in french rolls in the 7th grade. I used to think to myself, how does Deidra get it even all the way around. By the time I got a little older she began to do my hair when I was in the 7th grade. Big sis always came through for me and she could do it with one bobby pin! That was her magic weapon:) She would pin my hair up with that one bobby pin, making me look like I was in a beauty pageant. They were so elegant and her up do's never fell down with that one pin. Now that's talent. So in September I found out I was pregnant, and I began to feel like my sexiness was gone. I went to Deidra and she gave me a brand new look. When I came home my husband thought I was sooooo hot. She built my confidence back up. I must admit my sister is "the stuff". She puts her all in your hair and she will not stop until every string is perfect. Deidra has the perfect personality for a hair stylist, 1. She has just enough conversation with you while she's doing your hair to let you know she's friendly but she means business.2 She's so sweet and loving with you and your hair.3 She doesn't gossip, but she talks about positive things.4. She's funny.5. She makes you feel comfortable ,no matter how horrible your head looks when you sit in her chair.6. She spends the right amount of time on your hair(not too fast and not too slow).7.
